Excel 2013 Cell Reference not visible when reference a second worksheet

Some of my co-workers and I are having the same excel issue so I suspect it may be due to an update or patch that was pushed. When creating a formula and referencing a different worksheet, the selector becomes invisible. The cell that I am referencing on the different worksheet is not highlighted although I can see it in the formula bar. This occurs whether I am selecting a single cell or a range. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks Richard. There aren't any issues with copying and pasting - strictly when referencing a cell or range on a second worksheet while constructing a formula. Although I did try the suggestions from the other thread just to see if that would help. Doesn't seem to make a difference.
