Use vlookup to change old product code to new product code

I've got a excel file with 2 worksheets. Tab #1 has only the old product code in column A. Tab #2 has old product code in column A, and in column B directly beside it has the "new code" for that product.

I want to use vlookup forumla in Tab #1 to find the identical old product ode in Tab #2, and then display the new code.

Is this possible? If so how would I go about doing this?
