It is useful and it will not affect your PC. Just be careful that you don't rely on it for anything in shared files that will be used on PCs where it is not installed, though.

Oh OK that's good to know. Do functions not work then if the PC doesn't have it installed?
Of course.
If you use a function from KuTools then every machine the workbook is opened on needs a copy of KuTools otherwise you'll get an error in the cell. This will calculate correctly if the workbook is later opened on a machine containing KuTools.

No, how could they? It's something I use to speed certain things up, but if you use any of the Kutool functions, then anyone else will need Kutools for them to work.
