I have a column of numbers and letters that are all classified as text. How can I convert the numbers to numbers and keep the text as text?

upload a small (clean) sample workbook (not a pic) of what you are working with, and what your expected outcome would look like.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Go to the top of the column and select the first cell in the column where a number is stored as text. Then press CTRL + SHIFT + DOWN ARROW to select the remainder of the column.
At this point, a 'Number Stored as Text' error box should be displayed next to the last cell at the bottom. Click the exclamation point and select 'Convert to Number'
Bingo, the entire column is now fixed.
