Can you move a filter button on a table to another sheet?

I have created a slicer on a table (not a pivot table), and I am displaying the slicer on a dashboard sheet along with some graphs, etc.

I would like to have a search feature on the slicer. The easiest solution I can think of would be to move the filter button on the field I am slicing from the table to the dashboard sheet. Is this possible?

Any alternative solutions would be greatly appreciated.

I hope this picture helps, I basically want to put a search feature on a slicer, and I felt like the easiest way would be to move the red circle in sheet 1 to the red circle in sheet 2.
