    Conditional Formatting is ignoring values...

Hi there! I use conditional formatting all the time, and I can't for the life of me figure out why some of my values are being ignored. I've tried Text to Columns, I've tried reformatting the cells, I've double checked the cells from which these cells are pulling data.....can't figure it out! Can ya help a sister out??

    "Compiled" tab.

    Thank you!!

In columns J,I thereare strings, not numbers
='6'!C5*1, in this case it works
Hi! I'm confused by your response - there's nothing in column J. Sorry if I was unclear - the problem columns are H and I. I just tried what you suggested and it gave me the "#VALUE!" error.

There is CHAR(160) as a leading character for the values in column C on worksheets 6 and 7. Using Alt+0160 in Find field in Find and Replace might work with your computer to replace the space...leave the Replace With blank. Replace All.

If that doesn't work, select the non-breaking space in front of the number, copy and paste that into the Find field leaving the Replace with blank...replace all.

With the above taken care of on worksheets 6 and 7 your Conditional formatting works fine.
