Disaggregate one row date range into multiple rows

    Hello,

First time poster looking for a simple, repeatable way to take an Excel table that has approximately 500 rows of record data, each row of which includes two columns (Start Date & End Date) and disaggregate it to multiple records such that the result is one row per date in the date range determined by Start Date and End Date. Thus the end result will have many more rows of records.

I've researched and I think some form of unpivot and or Power Query will work, but power query and VBA are pretty far above my skill level at this point.

Any help or tips/strategies are greatly appreciated!

    I'm using Excel 2010 & 2016.

Welcome to the forum! You'll find that people are more likely to jump in on an issue if they something concrete to work with. If you need to attach a picture to amplify the discussion, make sure it's in JPEG format. PNG pictures don't show up for a lot of folks.

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.
