I have a Point of Sale system that I am trying to find a good way to make .CSV files for to reconcile inventory counts. Basically all that is required is a .CSV file with the UPC barcode of an item in the first column, and the Qty on hand in the 2nd column. I am using a standard USB barcode scanner. When you scan something, it quickly inputs the number, and then presses ENTER. What I would like for excel to do, for example, is move from cell A2 to cell B3 on enter, then move from B3 to A4 on enter, and repeat these steps to make the workflow simple. This would mean that you are working your way down the columns scanning the code, inputting the QTY then pressing enter, repeat. Is there a way to do this?
