Using pivot table results in another pivot table

Hi, new to the forum here looking for some pivot experts!

I have two pivot tables as seen in the attachment. My goal is to be able to filter "Second Level" and automatically have the second pivot (Rightside) filter the associated "User Groups"

So the end result... if i filtered "Reports (USA)" on the first table, the second table will automatically only show data for the groups Approvers, USA Visitors, and Editors - USA.

Any tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

See my remarks in your previous post.

If the data results of the pivot table look like decent source data (It has good column headers and the row headers are repeated) then you can overlay a named dynamic range over the pivot table and use the named range as the data source for the second pivot table.

This article should get you going on dynamic ranges: http://www.utteraccess.com/wiki/inde...Dynamic_Ranges.
One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.

Which one of the pivot tables do you want to use as the new data source? You will have to select the option to repeat row headers in the report.
