Ctrl + arrow key not working

I came across this website doing a Google search. Forgive me if i don't use the correct terms. I would like to quickly move to the last occupied cell in a row. Using Ctr/right arrow will not skip empty cells, but will take you to the next cell to the left of the next blank one. I want to skip any blanks and go directly to the last cell in a row that contains data. Been searching for hours with no solution. Interestingly, someone had the opposite problem and posted a question 7-3-2008 and that's how I got to this website.
    Thanks!
    David

    Try CTRL+END

    Thanks for the reply!
CTR+END takes you to the bottom row and last column cell. I'm looking for a shortcut to go to the last cell (with data) in the row you're in.

Oh, sorry. If there are empty cells in a row, then a shortcut to the last column with data requires a macro. You can attach a shortcut key sequence to this macro, but it can only be CTRL followed by a lowercase or uppercase letter.

I can't thank you enough! A minor learning curve to figure out how to create this, but it works great and will save so much time!!
