How to update sheets in specific order

Hi

I have a workbook with several sheets that I need to update in a certain order. I have one main sheet that is Connected to a SQL-database and gets data from that. Then I have some other sheets with different pivot-tables and graphs that is dependent on new, updated data from the main sheet. But how can I make one button that first updates main sheet and then updates the others (then based on the new data in main sheet)? For the moment I just press 'Update all' two times, but that is not a good solution.

Hi,

One way would be to 'build' the connections afresh each time rather than having them permanently in place.

Not quite sure if I understand what you mean here. Could you explain in a little more detail you think? I Connect to the database via a ODBC-Connection, but do you mean a different way to Connect? Btw, the database is running on a different computer (main server).
