Filtering

Hi, I would like to use filtering to pick out specific values in a sheet. Snag is I gather it won't work where some rows are blank?

Anyone advise me please (Excel 2007)

Hi,

Correct. If it so happens that your data is split with a blank row then your filtering won't work.
You can use a helper column on the side of your data. Fill the column with something like "a" all the way down to include all the rows that you have data.
This will connect the top and bottom portion of your data.

Or you could just select all the data first, including the blank rows and headings, then click on Data | Filter.
