Power Query "add this data do data model" refresh issue

    Hi Experts,

I have a query build in PQ from several workbooks. When I save the query as connection I can't refresh it. The only way to do so is to mark "Add this data to data model" when choosing Load to options. My version on Excel is 15.0.4885.1000, 32 bit and PQ 2.38.4491.181.

    Thanks for any help !

Since it's only connection and data isn't loaded anywhere, it's expected behaviour.

Either load data to model or load to table. You can then refresh.

Alternately, you can go into Query Editor and refresh preview in there.
