Image that can scroll like an iframe

I have a map that I want to use as an image

    It is very large.

I want it to fit in a frame with a range of cells A1:J16 (about 1/4 the workbook)

However, I want it zoomed to 100%, that is that it stays original size, and be able to scroll the image. (Like an iFrame)

If possible, I want to be able to pan to a specific section when I click a button

One way is to use the camera tool to create a linked picture.
Then change the range of cell that the image is linked too.

The example uses named ranges to store start end end row/column values in order to create a dynamic range.

I've been trying to recreate your magic, but found no luck.
I have placed the map on a second sheet. numbered axis accordingly.
created a linked picture on first sheet, added scrollbar, and numbers that move with scrollbar....
    But my map doesnt pan.
How do I link the scroll bar to the correct image coordinates?

The numbering on the map sheet is only for reference.

The scroll bars are linked to the MAP_ROW_START and MAP_COL_START cells.
The MAP_ROW_END and MAP_COL_END cells are start positions minus cells width/height of image
picture should be linked to named range MAP_VIEW

Without seeing what you have done it is hard to say why it's not working.
