Adding Date range to sheet

Hi, I have a spreadsheet that looks up a Data worksheet and displays the data into the Atmospheric mould map sheet.

The data shown is great with the formula created but the problem I have is, I cannot create a formula to add to the date range so the sheet when picking start & finish dates show the value for each area.

I have attached my spreadsheet called Micro.

The Micro sheet has 2 worksheets, Data & Atmospheric mould map.

The Data sheet carries the information for mould checks from different areas
The Atmospheric mould map sheet has columns for Grade A, B & C, that looks up the Data sheet range and places a value.

On Row 21 there are 2 cells that have a Date dropdown
D21 is the Start date
E21 is for the End date

What Im looking for is the Grade A, B & C columns that have the formulas written, to also look up the dates (D21 & E21) and whatever range it looks up, displays the value.

Would someone please be able to help me with this, as I have tried alsorts, vlooup, Index & Match but just cannot get it to work.

I forgot to mention that the dates on the Atmospheric sheet (D21 & E21) are dates taken (as a drop down) from the Data sheet, column B, if that helps everyone.

Hope someone would be able to help me with the query trying to lookup the dates, which ever is chosen so all Grade columns against the description total the value (which is a number).

RatCat, that is perfect, just how I wanted it and didn't think about using Countifs formulas for the dates.
