Making the sheet move, not the cell

Wonder if this is an irritation to other Excel users, entering data.

Is there a way to force the screen to move rather than active cell? As I enter data, it doesn't take long for the active cell to be either at the bottom or right of the screen. I would prefer the active cell to stay in the centre of the screen while the sheet moves.

I don't know if this can be done without VBA, so it might be more trouble than it's worth, but the following selection change event works reasonably well for me:
