I would like to change the form of the date which I now have in the text format as January 1, 2010. I need it to be 1/1/10. Can you please help me with it?

If your data in "A2" as January 1, 2010 format as text.
In "B2"
Formula:

Format as "Date"
From Type select 3/14/01 (Ensure Locale Location is "English U.S.)
