Format as table with protection on.

We have a spreadsheet with 4 tabs. We paste a spreadsheet into the first tab and tabs 2 thru 4 populate with specific information relative to those tabs. I want to protect the formulas in tabs 2 thru 4, but when I do, the user cannot use the filters as they may need to do. Can I protect the formulas in 2 thru 4 and still have the user change the filters? Thanks.

    1) Turn on the Autofilter BEFORE you protect the sheet

    2) When you protect the sheet, be sure to enable the [x] Use Autofilter option in the protections parameters.

Re: Format as table with protection on.

    >Select the formula Range
    >Go to "Format" > "Format Cell"
    >Go to "Protection" > To Right Mark on both tab "Locked" & "Hidden" > Click "ok"
    >Again go to "Format" > "Protect Sheet"
    >Right click on "Select Lock Cells" / "Select Unlock Cells" / "Use AutoFilter"
    >Enter password (which you want") > Click "ok" > Aginst enter same password (which you enter earlier)
    >Click "ok"
