I have some experience with Pivot Table, that I would like to ask for your opinion.
Is it correct that the Pivot Table created using Excel 2013 could not be read by Excel 2010? The Pivot Table is there, but it freeze up.
If I created the Pivot Table with 2010 and then do some revision on the main database with Excel 2013 and saved it with Excel 2013, can the Pivot Table it still active when it is opened with Excel 2010 later?

No, there would be no-issue, whether you create PT through version 2010 or 2013 both version can read PT table easily and there is no need to change save as. Do save as you save XL file routinely.
