    Vlookup for shape

    hi,
    i want to use vlookup formula for shape withot macros.
    there is a file attach (sample) on this coment that is explain for this post.

    No, you can't do that. Shapes don't sit in cells. They appear like sitting in cells but in reality shapes just takes the position as source instead of cell area.

    When the shape doesn't reside inside the cell then functions can't do anything when cell is empty.

    You can do a lookup of a picture. take a look at this sheet. Is this close enough for you?

    For shape, you can do by define "Name Manager".
