    remove duplicates

    Hi all

    As shown in the image file and excel sheet.

    How can i remove the duplicate the records under column A and B with same numbers.

    Go to Data, there should be a found Remove Duplicate

    Excel will keep 1 of the record .

    Yes, that's what Excel will do. Select both columns and then Remove Duplicates - give it a try. You can always hit the undo button if it's not what you want.

    Nope, duplicates will be removed, but 1 of them will be kept.
    I need to remove all.

    if this is a one off exercise:

    Delete the contents of column C (your comments).
    Create a helper:

    =A2&B2 in C2, copied down.

    and this in D2, copied down:

    =IF(COUNTIF(C:C,C2)=1,0,1)

    Apply a data filter. Select the 1s and delete the rows.
