    Bengali numerals custom number format.

Is it possible to create custom number format for Bengali numerals (১,২,৩,.......)
I found out it is possible for Hindi numerals using [$-4000439]0. Is there any similar way for Bengali? Please suggest me.

Thank you very much. I'm curious. How is this code generated? Does it have any relation with unicode or 'alt' codes of office?

The general format of the international number format prefix code has 3 parts

    NN CC LLLL

where NN is the code for the native numerals, CC the calendar you want to use and LLLL the LCID (Language Code Identifier) code

    in your case you have

    05 - Bengali numerals
00 - Gregorian calendar (I've no idea of what calendar you want but since you just wanted the numerals I used this one)
0845 - Bengali - Bangladesh (you can also use 0445: Bengali - India)

    this whole prefix put together:

    [$-05000845]
    or
    [$-05000445]

If want to know more look here:

(there was for many years a nice ms page with all these International Number Format info but now is gone, or it moved I don't know where)

Can you please tell me how can i use [>99999]##\,##\,##0.00;[<-99999.99]-##\,##\,##0.00;##,##0.00 number format together with above format? This is to show thousand separator in lakh and crore instead of millions. Also I want to add currency symbol if possible. Thanks in advance. Really appreciate your help.

    Hi

I don't know well your number notation. If you just add the international number format prefix code and the currency symbol to the format you posted does that work well?

    [$-5000845][>99999]"৳ "##\,##\,##0.00;[<-99999.99]"৳ "-##\,##\,##0.00;"৳ "##,##0.00

If not, post some examples so that we can test.
