Grouped Worksheets - would like to scroll at the same time

I thought that I had managed to do this but I was either mistaken or I can't remember how to do it.

I have a workbook with many worksheets. I often group a selection of worksheets together but would like them to scroll together so that whichever sheet I am looking at within the group, they are all in the same place.

    Any ideas please?

    Hi Kev

    Thanks for replying

It's not quite that situation. I have up to 30 sheets (every student in a class has their own sheet) and I group them together regularly as I'm working on the formulas within. Using the synchronised scrolling would entail creating 30 new windows to scroll together. It is just a bit of laziness on my part I suppose - I want to know when I click between them I am in the same place in each sheet rather than scroll on each sheet individually.

If you have done this before, then there must be a way - but not one I can think of immediately.
In the meantime, try out the attached workbook. VBA used to achieve what you want.

Credit for the elegance of this solution must go to shg - this is a variation on something he created in 2007!

I've never worked w multiple windows like that, but you'll need some way to detect scroll events. VBA doesn't do that directly, but there are apparently some third-party components that might do the trick. Here's a link to start with.
