You have several dates for some of the codes - do you want every date to be shown?
Pete
sorry pete I think I changed it now
Looks the same to me.
Rather than change a previous post, you can attach a file to a new post.
To do this, click on Go Advanced (below the Edit Window) while you are composing a reply, then scroll down to and click on Manage Attachments and the Upload window will open. Click on Browse and navigate to (and double-click) the file icon that you want to attach, then click on Upload and then on Close this Window to return to the Edit window. When you have finished composing your post, click on Submit Post.
Pete
have changed it
I have added 2 files need help please
This proposed solution uses two helper tables, one on sheet 1 and one on sheet 2 of the units workbook, then copies the second table to sheet 2 of the Finding cell 1 workbook.
The array entered formula* that populates the helper table on sheet 1 of the units workbook is:Formula:Please Login or Register to view this content.
The array entered formula* that populates the helper table on sheet 2 of the units workbook is:Formula:Please Login or Register to view this content.
The table on sheet 2 of the fining cell 1 workbook uses an assignment formula, i.e.: =[units.xlsx]Sheet2!B2
*Array entered formulas are activated by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to activate the array, not just ENTER. You will know the array is active when you see curly braces { } appear around your formula. If you do not CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER you will get an error or a clearly incorrect answer.
