Counting Usage of Materials with Recipe and Sold menu

    Hello

I want to ask how to count material usage if the case is:

There's a few menu with recipes (for example)

    Fried rice:
    50 g of rice
    30 g of eggs
    10 g of garlic

    Carbonara Fettucine:
    50 g of Fettucine
    20 g of eggs
    30 g of cheese

at the other sheet i wanted to input:
Amount of Fried Rice and Carbonara Fettucine sold

Output that i wanted is the usage of materials (rice, eggs, garlic, etc) because i have 180 menu and lots of materials :D

Can anyone tell me how to do that or at least the name of the function so i can google it

    Thank you :D

    Hi Yoelandita,
    welcome to the forum.
I've been looking into your workbook and I think the structure of your data needs some adjustments to make retrieving the usages with formulas feasable (and still comprehensible).
Are you free in choosing how your data is organized? E.g. would it be problem to have the Items Sold and Usages together in one table?
If so I can rework you xls to do this calculations.
    Cheers!
    Tsjallie

Here's an example of how you could organize things.
Pretty much reshuffled things to make the structure suitable for looking up the data needed to do the calculations.
I added Sheet1 to show this. For this example the 2 tables are on one sheet for a better view of the concept. In practice they will grow and it will by best to have them in separate sheets (1 table 1 sheet).
Further explaination is on the sheet.
