I want to format the currency in cells A2, A3, A4, etc based on the country entered in cell A1.
i.e. If I enter Europe in cell A1, then I want cells A2, A3, & A4 to be formatted for Euro currency.
How can I accomplish this task?

You can use conditional formatting for that. Select cells A2 to A4 etc. then click on Conditional Formatting | New Rule | Use a formula... , and put this formula in the dialogue box that pops up:
=A$1="Europe"
Click the Format button | Number tab then | Currency and then set the format you would like and click OK twice to exit the dialogue box.
Repeat for other countries in A1, like USA, UK, Japan etc.
Hope this helps.
