Find a value in column based on date

    Hi,

I am using lookup to find values based on date but its not working.
For example I have totals at the end of each week and I am manually changing reference every week. Is there any formula which can get the values by looking at the date. I have attached the worksheet where Column H needs to have formula to update values.

    Thanks,
    Jai

You can use SUMIF to do this.
In cell H4 enter this formula
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Copy it down to the other H5 and H6
    Cheers!

Formula to assign an amount for different layers

Thanks! I need help with another formula.
I have to come up with a formula which can assign one amount to different layers based on the criteria.
For example the amount is 4,350,0000 and first layer should have only up to 1 million, then second layer is next 500,000, 3rd layer next 500,000 and 4th layer 500,000, 5th layer 500,000, 6th layer 500,000 and 7th layer 850,000. I have attached a sheet.

    Regards,
    Jai
