    Different Column Width

    Dear All

    "I have a sheet, where line No.1 to 356 I have Column weidth 39.50
    and from line No 357 I want Colomn weidth 15.50 on same sheet. is it possible?"

    Plz Guide.

    No - columns must remain the same width all the way down the sheet. You could merge sets of two columns from rows 1 to 356, but merging cells can cause calculation problems. It depends on your reasons for wanting this, really.

    You won't be able to have the exact widths you are after, but suppose you set all columns to 15pts width - now select cells A1 and B1 and hit the merge button - copy paste down as far as row 365. Then do the same for C1 and D1, and so on. That's it.

    By hit merge i can increase the width but i need decrease the cell widht after Line No., 357.

    I don't think you understand. By merging cells above line 357 you have effectively created a double-width column. As I explained before, you cannot have the fine-tuning in terms of exact measurements that you want, sorry. There is nothing more to add.
