Columns not displaying properly Excel 2007

    Hello

I am quite new to Excel but have watched many tutorials to learn the basics and now ready to tackle more advanced functions.
I have encountered a problem when creating column as it is not displaying properly and instead shows a mixup of the figures selected

    I have attached a screenshot

    Many thx for any feedback

    Thx Jon

Its hard to tell from the picture, but, are you using merged cells for the figures? If so, that is most likely what is causing the issue.

You don't have to add Rep if I have helped you out (but it would be nice), but please mark the thread as SOLVED if your issue is resolved.

I agree that it is difficult to tell from a picture. What I see in the picture is that Excel has, for whatever reason, decided to put the data in the "series name" field instead of the values field. The first thing I would do would do with this chart is open up the Select Data dialog (https://support.office.com/en-us/art...9-5c70e374f9be ) and see what the chart is using for things. You should then be able to edit the different fields/ranges so that the chart is using the correct data.

Re: Columns not displaying properly Excel 2007

    The document has 370 rows.
Somehow if I select no more than 20-30 rows, it will display the columns , pie chart or any of the others correctly but if I select a higher number, it will not.

Maybe this is linked to the amount of data it can display within a column or there might be a setting somewhere to increase the number of rows who will display
