I am a total illiterate when it come to creating a spreadsheet. Does anyone have something set up that I could use. I am president of a league that plays 8 weeks, and has 90 members. I need a spread sheet that I can add a golfers name, their Handicap number, thier gross score, net score each week and will calculate their average score at the end of the 8 weeks.
how do you calculate the average score in this scenario
I dont understand golf, but have made a few tournament spreadsheets before that do a lot of calculations

However, how is the average calculated and we can add that to be automatic for you
is it simply the average of the gross score and the average of the net score
so
gross average
sum of the gross score / 8 * 18 (8 weeks X number of holes per round each week)
Net Average
sum of the Net score / 8 * 18 (8 weeks X number of holes per round each week)
or is there some clever calculation on handicap
Also if someone misses a week or 2 - how do you account for that ? or is it treated as a zero and so they pretty much lose
