Automatic Update / "Refresh" of Shared Workbook

    Hello,

We have an Excel file on a network that needs to be updated by many users (all on their own PCs). We also have VBA code within that allows autosave after any change made by a user.

However, the Share Workbook in Excel only allows the Update Changes for a minimum of every 5 minutes.

We need to figure out how to allow users to make changes and for other users to see these changes as they happen (if you could say, "live changes"). We are hoping that there is a way for users to see these changes without closing and re-opening the Excel file.

    Thank you

Excel isn't meant for that type of thing.

Shared Workbook feature has many limitations and many avoid it like plague.

Instead, invest in database. MS Access, MS SQL, MySQL etc.

Sorry CK76. My bosses are inclined on using Excel as it's easier for the many people working here who aren't too tech-saavy.
My workbook works perfectly fine even with the macros I'm using.
This is the only issue I'm facing - that the workbook does not auto-update/refresh after each change.
For example, user 1 wants to see user 2s changes in real time. It can only happen if user 1 closes & re-opens the file / types in a cell and hits enter / saves the file.
If there was some sort of VBA code to refresh the cells each time they are updated and affects all users, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi Kyle, I did not know about this until now. I'm sorry for any issues I may have caused but I was looking for more opinions on this matter.
I cannot edit my first post for some reason but I'd like to link to this crosspost:
