When using CF as designed, new value is not visible until hitting enter.

Have a spreadsheet that has conditional formatting applied to some cells. If the value is equal to a zero (not blank), it changes the font to match the background color, in this case white. Cell now appears blank as intended.

Now, if I want to change it to another number, the preview of the new number is not shown until accepting the change by pressing enter.
Is there a way to get my preview back and maintain CF?

    TIA
    Pete

    Hi,

Instead of conditional formatting, you can display 0 as blank.

Click File > Options > Advanced.
Under Display options for this worksheet, select a worksheet, uncheck the Show a zero in cells that have zero value check box.
