    Sorting in Excel & Pareto

My Excel 2010 doesn't give me the chart for Pareto......Is there any way to take the data and make Excel Auto Sort the data

Mind you these are formulas that have compiled data not just numbers :-)

    Money spent # of boxes

    Jimmy 5 2
    Earl 90 4
    Tracy 60 6
    Cathy 54 55
    Justin 18 23
    Kathy 63 19
    Robert 42 63

Auto Sort (big to small) for both column's?

    Hello omer123456,

Mind you these are formulas that have compiled data not just numbers :-)
    That might be a problem.

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Re: Sorting in Excel & Pareto

My first thought is to use a pivot table: http://www.excel-easy.com/data-analy...ot-tables.html
    name as the column label
last column as the row label
count of date (or other column) as the value.
to show one or more "names", click on the "filter" down arrow for the column labels and deselect the names you don't want to look at.
