I have a spreadsheet made up that references cells from other spreadsheets. When it's just on my computer, it's fine. However, if I want to send the sheets over to a different computer, I then have to spend time going through the sheet and getting rid of the file path from every cell that references a cell on another spreadsheet.
What I'm wondering is, is there a way to have excel *not* add in the file path and just keep the reference to the other sheet?
Some examples for clarity:
What I want the formula to look like when I transfer the files to another computer:
What the formula looks like whenever I transfer the files to another computer:=GETPIVOTDATA("Count of StockNumber",'[Current Inventory Safe Version.xlsx]SQL'!$B$7,"Designation","N")
=GETPIVOTDATA("Count of StockNumber",'C:\blahblahfilepath\[Current Inventory Safe Version.xlsx]SQL'!$B$7,"Designation","N")
