One Graph, Two Time Intervals, Two Vertical Axis

I would like to have one graph that will show the data for flow and precip. even though I have different time intervals. Also it will need to have two vertical axis since the data have different units and the values are so distant. Is this possible?
I will attach a small sample of my data.

Do you REALLY want 2 X-axes??? It'll look really messy, IMHO.

So, that is exactly what I needed, but I'm having trouble applying it to my large data sample. For some reason the precip graph is much shorter and the rain values are on the wrong date. How did you get it to show "series name", "series X values", and "series Y values", when you add a series? On my other file it only allows "series name" and "series values" as options.

I'm not sure that I understand your Q. I set the series names from Design/Select Data/Edit

When I hit Design/Select Data/Edit on the graphs that I have been making, it only shows series name and series values, it doesn't have the X value and Y value that the graph you posted show. Not sure if it is a different graph type or what.

No, I just sent you the graph from my original sheet so you could compare. My original sheet is pretty big, do you want me to send it?

Still not much use as the original data aren't there.

So... Now that I have nearly got the correct file (the graph is still pointing to your original data, but I can adjust that). Where, exactly, is the problem?

To answer this question, yes, they are different chart types. Your chart is a line chart (category axis), where Glenn's chart is an XY scatter chart (with a value X axis). If you are unfamiliar with the differences (and similarities) between line and scatter chart types, you may want to research the two chart types to understand how they work.

Ok that's what I figured, thanks for the help, and thanks Mr. Kennedy for being patient with me.
