fixing the excel formula bar below tje ribbon. (not auto show/hide)

Hi guys,

I think I'm.going mad, I've come into work this morning and the formula bar is no longer fixed beneath the ribbon, instead it occupies the space of the ribbon when you click on a cell and disappears when you click on the home tab for example. I much prefer to have it fixed below the ribbon.

I feel like this has to be a very obvious solution but I have tried googling in different ways and it only suggests the show formula bar option which is already checked. I've looked at other display options and cant find anything relevant.

Your Ribbon is minimized. Disable the minimize ribbon option.
