I have what I think is an interesting problem. I am in Excel 2013. I have imported my Outlook Contacts into an Excel SS. In the first Column (NAME), I have 650 Rows, which means that, as you scroll down Column A, you will see 650 Cells, each with a name in it. (I have a lot of Contacts.) All well and good so far, but each name looks something like this: "Jones, % Bob%", "Smith,% Adam%," etc. (without the quotes). So I have over 1,300, unwanted, percentage marks which I want to get rid of.
Now I know in Word, if you have a text document and want to eliminate or change a constantly recurring word or phrase, it is very easy to do so. Well, I want to do the same thing with my Column A here - I want to delete all of the percentage marks and I want to do it the easy way, not the hard way.
Can it be done? If so, how? (Step by Step, please - I'm fairly dense when it comes to this kind of stuff.)
Thanks for any help!
