    Accounting issue

    Hi Guys,
I have tried to sort out this ‘accounting’ issue but I couldn’t. In the attached excel file I need to modify the original sheet to look like the ‘Desired’ one. The only difference here is how the debit/credit accounts are placed – in the original sheet all accounts are situated in one column whereas I want to paste them in two columns and the USD amount to be in one. What is essential here is that each entry has to be balanced, i.e. debit side to equal the credit one.
I have such files as the original sheet which contains thousands rows and it would be great it they could be easily modified as ‘desired’, if possible.
Let me know if you need more details.
    Thank you very much indeed.

In your sheet entry number is same. In account entry number mean voucher number, entry number or voucher number is different whereas you mentioning same.

    Hi,

the entry number is the number of the specific entry and it is the same in both sheets as these are one and the same entries looking in different manner. Did you mean that?

    Thanks.

Welcome to the forum! Please take a moment to re-read forum rule #1 and then amend your thread title to something that better explains your problem. Changing your thread title is not optional, which means you must change it. Thanks!

    • Use concise, accurate thread titles.
    • Your post title should describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.
    • Use terms appropriate to a Google search - poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice tell us nothing.
    • Responding to a request to change your thread title by doing so is mandatory.

No help to be offered, please, until the OP complies with this request.
