Filtering by single employees in pivot table when the cell contains multiple employees

If anyone could let me know if this is possible idd appreciate it.

I have a table with rows of accounts that multiple employees are responsible for. In each row theres a column with all of those responsible employees separated by commas. Is there a way to add a filter to my pivot table so I can select one employee and it will show all the rows where that columns cell CONTAINS that employee name.

    Account | Performance | Employees
    Acct1 | Satisfactory | Mike, John, Laura
    Acct2 | Arrears | Kim, Mike
    etc..

In this case the filter would have 4 names singled out, and if you selected Mike for example, both of those rows would show.

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

Thats the right idea but unfortunately i can't edit the data table like that. The actual table has summed up numbers and hundreds of thousands of rows. I can't add additional rows for each employee.

Sorry mate, Pivot Table working with tables and columns and treated cell as single data (content). Doesn't matter how many words you've there. You will need prepare your data to be used with PT.

    You are welcome and thanks
Pivot Table looks like Magic Wand but it is not

If you want to play with PowerQuery, add table to Data Model, then create new columns with Calculated Fields/Calculated Columns (divide Name column to the single names), transpose table and create PivotTable from new transposed table. (theory)

    Edit Modified Pivot Table. Reattached.
Perhaps I am missing something, but what if you do the Pivot Table like in the attached and apply 'Label Filters' > 'Contains'.

See attached. Applied 'Contains' "Mike". You can also apply wildcards.
