    Try this:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

I've put in the error message 'check curing time' in case a number other than 7 or 28 is input into cell N15 - you could just return a blank instead, using "".

Edit: corrected formula in post 5 below

I recently started a new job so am a bit busy and may not reply quickly. Sorry - it's not personal - I will reply eventually.
If your problem is solved, please go to 'Thread Tools' above your first post and 'Mark this Thread as Solved'.
If you use commas as your decimal separator (1,23 instead of 1.23) then please replace commas with semi-colons in your formulae.
You don't need to give me rep if I helped, but a thank-you is nice.

Re: How to use Conditional Vlookup

What do you want to happen if you put in a value other than 7 or 28? You only have tables for those values, but if there's some rule you'd like followed if you put in a value of 10 (for example), then I could amend the formula to deal with that.

(Thanks for the rep, by the way.)

Edit: sorry, looking again at the formula I gave you, I realise the error message won't work where it is. Use this instead:
    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.

Sorry about that - I shouldn't have posted it quickly without checking properly!

Re: How to use Conditional Vlookup

Hi Aard I have a question IF(N15=7,3,IF(N15=28,5, on this part of the formula what does the "3" and "5" do?, what is this doing in the formula ?
I have a similar example so I found this interesting.

    Thanks

    Noah!

It determines which column to return in the INDEX formula.
