Hi there,
I would like to know if its possible to do the following:
As the title says I want to copy a value from one cell to another if that value changes. In this case I have a timer in cell E5 which counts down each second therefore changing the value each second. I'd like to use this as a trigger of sorts to copy the value of other cells when the value in E5 changes e.g. When E5 changes value copy value of J5, O5 etc.. into a new column. I have 10 cells in total that I would like to copy the data from using E5 as the trigger to do so.
In addition to this I don't want the updated value to overwrite the previous value, for instance if I choose cell H20 as the destination cell for the data to be copied into when the value changes again and gets copied I'd like the data from the previous update to move down one row so the data in H20 would move down to H21 and so on down with each update. This would mean if the value updates 60 times at once every second I would then have 60 rows of data to analyse.
I have zero coding experience and this is rather daunting to me so I hope I've explained clearly enough what I want to achieve.
Thanks for your time
Pat
