Pivot Table Displaying Old Data

Hi all,

I have a cost breakdown for a construction job and for each draw request, I create a separate sheet with those costs for that period, and create a pivot table with that data on each sheet. It has been working out well thus far, but I'm having a problem with my most recent pivot table: I select the data and create a new pivot table, like always, except it uses data from a different sheet. I can't seem to find the glitch or the issue, perhaps someone can help? I have provided the sheet in this dropbox link, and saved the most recent table. I created the pivot table on sheet "draw 8 - 08.07.17" with the data from that sheet, but it's using the data from sheet "draw 6b - 07.23.17"

I need to get this resolved quickly, as I process weekly draws. Thanks!

Attach a sample workbook (not a picture!). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

I don't know what you did, but:
- source table must be selected before PT (any cell inside)
- if you see use DataModel from this workbook, you need to check if your current source table is in Data Model (if not PT will use old DataModel)
- with old source table - select any cell in PT - PivotTable Tools - Analyze - Change PivotTable Data Source and select correct source

This is human error not Excel

This same issue happened again, and I am unsure of how to fix it. I have done nothing abnormal in the program except enter data and create pivot tables. Could you please advise again? I'm unsure of the issue, but every time I change the data source to the correct info, it does nothing. I check the data source AFTER I already changed it, and the data source remains the incorrect data source. Please help!

That's what the program says, but I didn't select the wrong data source. I selected the right data source, but it DEFAULTS to the wrong data source. When I change the data source back to the correct data source, it doesn't do anything. This is the issue I'm having. I just tried again with Draw 11, and it defaulted to an incorrect data source again. See the spreadsheet and I will attach pictures I took.

Two more photos. Yes the pivot table should show the information from the sheet that it is on.

See how it shows the data source as from Draw 6a? I have no idea why it did this...as you can see, I selected the data from Draw 11 for this table, and it displayed the data from Draw 6a. This has been happening frequently, and I am at a loss.
