Hi,
I'm trying to use Conditional Formatting, to highlight a column in red text, if it's value is larger than it's corresponding cell number, in another column.
Essentially my rule is as follows;
Where n = a chosen number;
If Hn > Cn --> Hn text colour = red
Now, I've had no trouble making this Conditional Formatting rule for just 1 cell (see screenshot 1), however there are close to 100 rows in the column, that I need to copy/apply this rule to.
So I try dragging the formula down, with the box in the bottom right hand corner, however all this does is compare each Hn cell to the same original C cell (in this case it's C3).
If there would be some way I could insert the $ sign into the Conditional Formatting formula (see screenshot 2; I want this to be "Cell Value > $C3), though I can't find a way to put a $ in this side of the equation?
Any help?
Thanks
