    Shared Excel documents

Is there a way to open 2 shared documents at the same time.

I am trying to collate data from one weeks data sheet on excel and add it to the following weeks data sheet...thus would show 2 weeks figures amalgamated together.

When i try to open to shared documents it says i cant?

Any help or suggestions would be great thanks in advance.

Sounds like Access may be better
How many users? If it is just you - then excel would probably work - what do you mean by shared documents?
