How do I rearrange columns into rows?

Hello,

In Excel I have the methylation values for approx. 6000 probes in 6 samples. The data is displayed in three columns. Below is the data for the first probe:

sample ID probe ID meth value
Sample 1 cg1 0.103388772
Sample 2 cg1 0.111199847
Sample 3 cg1 0.113448206
Sample 4 cg1 0.855967969
Sample 5 cg1 0.796521705
Sample 6 cg1 0.8253754

Is there a method I can use in Excel to rearrange the data so that the probe IDs are the rownames and the sample IDs are the column IDs? I.e. so that it looks more like this:

Sample 1 Sample 2 Sample 3 Sample 4 Sample 5 Sample 6
cg1 meth value
cg2
cg3
cg4
cg5
cg6
cg7
cg8

Try this:
1. copy the whole data (7x3 cells).
2. then select the range where you want to paste the data only that the rows and columns are reversed (3x7 cells).
3. right click then under "Paste Special", select "Transpose"
