Help Copying from one automated workbook to another in a different format

    Hi All,

ok, like my title says I dont even know if this is possible.

I have a spreadsheet (workbook) exported from a website on a daily basis, what I want to do is automatically copy data from this workbook and place it into another (already existing) formatted spreadsheet, then save thjis as a different sheet so and both originals are not altered, though the data in one of the original cells is an address, and in the final sheet the address is split into 5 cells.

my thoughts were to create a spreadsheet and include a macros (somehow) to copy the data from the original sheet, paste it in to it's self, split it up to the new format then cut and paste it in to the final sheet and "save as" Filename (todays date and time).

an example would be a customer buys a mirror (from a predetermined list and selected from predetermined sizes) the order number, customers name and address, product, size, weight and delivery method would all be visible in the new spreadsheet ready to send to the courier.

am i living in the realms of fantasy? or is this possible?

thank you for your time and help.

    Robin

It's definitely possible, but not without a little more information. If you could upload example workbooks with the same file and sheet names as the ones you are using, which show your desired results, I'm sure someone will be able to help.

Edit: Sorry Leah posted at the same time
