    Extract number from sting of text

    Hi, could you pls help me with the formula to extract either 61% or 61 from cell A1? thanks.

    =MID(A1,FIND("</",A1)-3,3)

    Format cell B1 as percentage.

    Thanks Alkey. Sometimes it is not CNY but some other currency. It is possible to have a generic formula that extracts the numbers only and converts the commas to "."?
