Finding file pathway of file name in a cell

Afternoon Team,

I may need your help.

I have excel file, In that file I have two columns
Column A : File Name
Column B : File Pathway

I want Column B to look at file name and return the full file pathway . For example

Column A : Test1
Column b: C:\Temp\Documentum\Documents\Test1

Column A: Test99
Column b: C:\Temp\Documentum\Documents\Test99

You know any way I can do this in excel ? Without manually finding the pathway and populating against each row

You can return the full path and filename of a =CELL("filename",A1)reviouslysaved file using:

=CELL("filename",A1)

But... I don't think that's what you want. It SOUNDS like you want Excel to search for a given filename.... somewhere on your hard drive.... and then tell you where it found it. Is that correct?????
