How to empty the all "empty-like" cells

Hello, I have a small problem. I have a list of items in A1:A15 - see picture 1 - last row is 15. If I use filter to these items
for a name "BEDNAR" I will see only 4 items - see Picture 2. Problem is, that last row is 17 as an "empty". If I write
something to line 17 and If I cancel the filter, the line 16 will be empty - see picture 3. It is problem. All cells except
A1:A15 are empty. So, where is problem ? How can I "recreate" emptyness state of all the "empty" cells ??? Problem is
that ALL cells in line 16 are empty. No spaces or similar characters. What now ? (I know that filter can be set to "BEDNAR" + "ALL EMPTY Cells" but is there any other way how to restore the "cell emptyness" ??? Thanks

I don't get the problem. It seems to me you have a list A1:A15 that you can filter just fine. What's the issue here? Could you explain it a little better? What are you trying to achieve that isn't working?

Re: How to empty the all "empty-like" cells

Problem is that a cell has two empty states "not yet used" and "empty" and I am not able to set a cell to "not yet used" state. That is all...

I see what you mean. There's no "not yet used" state. A cell is either empty or not empty. Why do you need to set it to this "not yet used state" you're talking of?

Re: How to empty the all "empty-like" cells

it is simple, if I know how to set a cell to "not yet used" state I need no set a filter to "BEDNAR" + "EMPTY" cell to so as I obtain correct filtration without "empty" rows.

Again I fail to see what you wanna do here. If you wanna get the cells that contain "BEDNAR" why do you care if empty rows are filtered out? Anyway, as I said there's no such thing as a "never used" state in Excel so that's that..

Re: How to empty the all "empty-like" cells

Make a table on the data in A1:a20

    insert table.

After that you can filter on ad value and A17 is also in the range (to filter).
Notice my main language is not English.
