Deconstructing Spreadsheet - Object to Text

Please see attached sample. I have a massive spreadsheet with these "x" and "o" objects that need to be converted to "no" and "yes" or something that will work in Excel. Anyone have a tip on how to do that? Thanks in advance,

That's clever. You used the fact that one marker had same width and length and the other one didn't to differentiate them, right?
